meet our pastors

Pastors Aaron and Stacey Franz are the founding pastors of Living Hope Community Church, a church they launched in 1998 with a clear calling from God — to create a place for people who had given up on church and maybe even on God.

Their story began at International Bible College in San Antonio, where they met while preparing for ministry. What started as a shared passion for serving Christ became a lifelong partnership in life and ministry. Aaron, originally from Tennyson right here in our area, and Stacey, from Nampa, Idaho, have now been married for 33 years and
continue to serve side by side with the same heart and vision that brought them together.

The Beginning of Living Hope

In 1998, Aaron and Stacey stepped out in faith to found Living Hope Community Church. They saw a growing number of people who felt hurt, judged, overlooked, or disconnected from church. Instead of turning away, they felt called to build a church where those very people would feel seen, welcomed, and loved.

Living Hope was never meant to be a place for perfect people.
It was meant to be a place for real people.

A place where grace is greater than shame.
Where truth is spoken with compassion.
Where freedom in Christ is not just preached — it’s experienced.

Their Heart for People

Aaron and Stacey are passionate about leading people into a saving relationship with Jesus Christ and walking with them into a life of freedom — freedom from their past, freedom from sin, freedom from shame, and freedom from the weight they’ve been carrying for years.

They believe:

  • ï‚· No one is too far gone for God’s love

  • ï‚· Healing is possible

  • ï‚· Families can be restored

  • ï‚· Hope can be renewed

  • ï‚· And every person has a purpose

Their greatest joy is seeing lives transformed by the power of Christ — especially those who once felt like they didn’t belong, but now know they are part of God’s family.

Still the Same Mission

After more than two decades of ministry, their heart hasn’t changed. They still believe church should feel like coming home — a place where you are known, loved, and invited into something greater than yourself.

Whether you are exploring faith for the first time or returning after years away, Pastors Aaron and Stacey would love to meet you, hear your story, and help you discover the living hope found only in Jesus.
